The CSA season starts in mid to late May and runs a total of 18 weeks. Full share members pick up a full portion every week and half share members pick up a half portion every week. Full shares feed 4-5 people (about $38.77/week) and half shares feed 2-3 people (about $25/week).
Signal Mountain Farm’s CSA Membership Policy
By signing up for Signal Mountain Farm’s CSA, you are committing to the entire 18 week season. We make every effort to keep the cost of your CSA share to a minimum. Please be aware that once pick up days/locations are selected, picking up on alternate days/locations due to vacation or special circumstances will not be permitted due to limitations in distribution. If you are unable to pick up your weekly box on your specified pick up day you may send a friend or neighbor to pick it up for you. Missed boxes will not be held or reserved for a later pick up.
The box will be filled with a variety of fruits and vegetables according to availability. Produce is available based on seasonal and environmental factors. CSA members share in any surplus but also assume the risk of the farming season. The items in each weekly box will be the freshest and best quality available and picked and packed carefully.
